Tough Year - Growing 4 You
This year has been our toughest growing year on the farm. Low snow fall, warm winter created an environment for unwanted weeds and bugs to flourish. Many of which perish during our normal cold winters. Early spring - had our orchard in full bloom all of the trees, had a great "set" meaning that the blossoms had pollenated and were beginning to produce fruit. Recipe of the week: Crunchy Cucumber Pasta Salad: serves 4 - Boil 2 cups pasta your choice, drain drizzle with olive and sea salt set aside. Summer Squash, Potatoes, Cabbage, Onions, Garlic, Assorted Peppers, Cucumbers, Green Beans, Herb Bundle RECIPE : Grilled or Saute Keilbasa and Veggies : Saute - diced fresh potatoes with chop half head of cabbage, diced 1 onion along with a bell pepper and green beans, in olive oil with a sliced Keilbasa till browned and delicious- be careful to over salt (sausage typically is salty) dash of pepper.
