Spring Time on the Farm

Spring time is always a busy time. It's a fresh restart to all things living.

The soils start to warm and lift up towards the sun. Microbes, earth worms and tiny bugs awake and begin their life journey. The grass color changes to a vibrant green.

Life "Springs" Up!

Here on the farm - we always are busy, but must say "Spring Time" is the craziest. Seeds to sow, fields to prep, planting cold crops and potatoes. The greenhouses become alive almost over night and a sweet scent fills the air. Rain coats and muddy boots line up at the back door, ya never know when the next rain storm is about to come. Birds fill the air and seek freshly sprouted seeds springing up from the freshly plowed fields.

At Spyglass Gardens we have been planting over 400 cold crops, sowing hot weather seeds in the greenhouses, planting potatoes and field prep. Our fruit trees are budding and some blooming. We are excited to celebrate our 25th Year of Growing 4 You. Mark your calendars for May 9-11 - 25th Mothers Day Tour de Farm - The only time our farm is Open to the Public.

Whether you live in the city or the country - Spring is a time of renewal - We hope you take the time to go outside and enjoy this very special time of the year.

From all of us at Spyglass Gardens llc - Have a Blessed Year!

Tough Year - Growing 4 You

This year has been our toughest growing year on the farm. Low snow fall, warm winter created an environment for unwanted weeds and bugs to flourish. Many of which perish during our normal cold winters
