Educational Events!Pickling Classes: Spyglass Gardens offers Cucumber Pickling classes from mid June thru September. Our outdoor kitchen makes for a fun evening with hands on training. Each person will receive a handy guide, 2 pints of dill pickles & refreshments. Classes limited to 12 persons. Classes fill up fast sign up early ! Farm Tours: For young and old. Tours are given free of charge. All guided tours must be pre-scheduled. Tour the garden with Steve or Wendy and learn how the “Natural” farm works. See the greenhouses, herb garden, le Chicken Hotel, West & Center fields. All of the garden has grass walk paths and there are benches if you need to rest. We love to cater to the little tikes, preschool-4th grade. The Garden Park is a great place to group up after the tour and have a snack. You are most welcome to bring treats for your group. Public Restrooms in the Park. Container Magic Potting Class: Fun for all. You can choose one of our crazy containers and create a Magical Garden. Boots, shoes, tea pots, coffee cups, wall baskets, wooden pots, clay pots, canning jars, or gourds, Wendy has plenty to go around! The class includes container, fresh potting soil, bedding plants and of course refreshments. Classes limited to 12 persons. Concrete Leaf Class: Make a one of a kind bowl or platter for your home. They are absolutely unique. Class is offered in Late July-September. Includes all materials to make one bowl or platter and refreshments. Classes limited to 6 persons.
