| Our program is very flexible. If you are gone (vacation etc) We allow you to skip weeks without loosing your basket..as long as you let us know in advance. We will bank your skipped weeks and you can use them towards extras or a double basket.
Each week we email the availbility list and if you wish to double up or substract it is no problem at all.
20 Week Program Half Share $300.00 +tax
($15 per week)
20 Week Program Full Share $600.00 + tax
($30 per week)
Each week during the season you will receive fresh picked in season veggies and fruits. Before the season starts we will have you fill out a personal choice form, this helps us understand what you like, are allergic to and what you don't like. Because of the wide variety that we grow, we can customize your basket for you and your family.
We include recipes & helpful cooking tips to make it easier to enjoy your fresh produce. During the season we add potted herbs and cut herbs that will spice up your tablefare.

What is a CSA Program?
CSA basically is Communitive Supported Agriculture. A farm has ground inwhich grows a wide variety of produce or has means of providing through a network of farms. The farm sells memberships based on the amount it can provide for a given amount of time.
| CSA Program is Fun, Healthy and Tasty - Saturday, October 31, 2009Thanks to a twist of fate, here on the farm we now have a great CSA program. Most folks ask what is a CSA Program...Basically it is a farm that wishes to provide to a limited amount of families fresh produce, meats, locally made items or dairy in a given amount of time like a season. The farm sells shares based on their inventory of growing or providing to folks. Most all of these are done in a block of weeks-like ours is 20 weeks. These folks pay up front for their share and each week starting at the season they receive a basket or box of fresh produce or products that the farm has in their membership.
At Spyglass Gardens we offer a 20 week program. Fresh Picked Produce from June to Mid October. |
At Spyglass Gardens we provide most everything (produce wise) from Arugula to Zucchini. We offer a 20 week program for our members. Given options throughout the program time frame, each member receives a generous supply of fresh picked produce from our farm. We strive to personalize each basket with your likes or dislikes, some restrictions do apply. We also have a network of farms that can provide our members with more locally grown products. |

Farm goes Greener!

| We have always tried to reuse or recycle when we can. Our nursery pots and trays are sanitized and reused till they fall apart. Compositing is a daily ritual. Even the trelis twine is rolled up and reused another year.
Our CSA Program is of no exception. WE use washable bags for each members share. Use recycled paper bags when possible. Starting 2010 we will post here on this page the weekly fresh picks and the recipe or foodwise tip. Saves on paper and ink... |
